Illustrations / Photobashing / Game Assets
Following the life and trials of protagonist Bayek, Assassin's Creed: Origins was a chance to explore Ancient Egypt as never seen before. Here you can find illustrations, paintovers, and even a few in-game assets I designed. Released October 2017.
Concept Art / Props / Technical Drawings
One of the most positive experiences working on Origins was experimenting with all sorts of mediums and styles, which kept the concepts varied and the energy fresh. It also presented a wonderful opportunity to run wild with ideas.
As well as illustrations and concept design, I collaborated with the animation and writing team to storyboard the naval cinematiccs.
Also included are early boards for the Stone Circles side quests, which appears differently in the final game.
Webcomic Pitch
I enjoyed the adventures of Bayek and his companions so much I collaborated with the writers to produce test pages for a comic. We hoped to continue his adventures in a new format, and pitched the idea of a webcomic. Unfortunately, the comic was never picked up, but it was fun to work on regardless.
